Progress - Waterfall Painting

Well, I'm ready for the next several days of holiday activity ... so managed to steal a few hours to look at some of my works in progress.  I've been "stewing" over the waterfalls painting... and this is it to date.  Probably won't get another chance to look at this one until after the New Year.

In the meantime - enjoy.

    Merry Christmas to you! I love the waterfall painting! I like the fresh approach that you've taken by painting the dark background, to let the froth of the water show up so dramatically. You must have a secret formula for your mixture of blues. They are amazing!

    Ruby, this is a wonderful painting as it stands.
    I can feel it and hear it at the same time. But I am a little worried that on this day before Christmas you seem a little quiet? I hope the New Year will bring health and strength to you and will be good to all of us. Jerry

    Not so quiet Jerry as busy. Feel like the mad magician in Frosty the Snowman ... you know the one "busy, busy, busy"

    92 year old mother with me so requires much time and attention.
